Welcome to the First Blog!

In all honesty, I have no idea on how to start these blogposts, so bare with me here as I write this lmao.

Welcome to the Blog page! This is where I post updates regarding the game, answer some questions, and show off some teasers. First of all, take a look at a concept of what it would look like in game!

This is a WIP for the first level of the game. I haven't gotten any UI done yet, but that will be finished soon.

The game is gonna be similar to cuphead in the sense that it's a sidescroller and also a shooter(sometimes depending on your game style).

Here are some music teasers! (well I guess one isn't a teaser, it's a full song but idc you get more content).

"Sticks and Splinters" was made in collaboration with my friend Sebway, who's been helping me out with some of the music.

Small Q&A

Q: What genre of game is this?

A: Raging Dixie is a sidescrolling platformer, similar to Cuphead with it's "Boss Rush" style. You move across the map, beat some some bad guys on the way, and get to the goal. I'm aiming for every level to be unique to keep the game fresh and more replayable.

Q: What is this game being made on?

A: Currently, I'm planning to make the game on Godot, because my friends use it and it seems pretty straightforward. Of course, this may be subject to change. I really do not like programming.

Q: Will this game be 2 player?

A: Yes it will! Not in the initial release, but the full game will have multiplayer.

Q: How much will this game cost?

A: I'm not sure yet, but the demo and it's updates will be free.

Q: Do you need help on the game?

A: Yeah, badly. I can't do all the music and art and definitely not all the coding. If you have skills, show me what you got on discord and I'll consider.
